We believe that short-term missions outreaches are one of God's strategies in these last days for mobilizing the body of Christ to bring in the harvest.  However, we believe that it is important that our teams play a strategic role working along side of local beleivers to fullfill local vision.  Each of our teams serves a very important role as the outreach is carefully integrated into the overall strategy for minitry.  This gives our short-term teams an unprecedented opportuntiy to be apart of the long-term vison for reaching a nation.  Short-term team members have the opportunity to receive missions training during each of our outreaches and then have the opportutnity to put into practice what they are learning.  We believe that our team members have the opporutnity to see God use them in ways never before experienced in their day-to-day lives.  The result is that they return to their churches with a vision for reaching the world and the power to reach their community.  OWM provides on-going opportunities throughout the year for you to become involved in short-term missions outreaches.  We offer trips for all ages because we believe that you are never too young or too old for God to use you.

Youth Trips
We offer youth trips for adolescents up through young adult.  These trips range in intensity and duration.  Each of our trips is a cross-cultural missions encounter designed to introduce the individual on the team to the mission field.  These trips will involve basic missions evangelism training and an introduction to cross-cultural ministry.  Team members have the opportunity to participate in missions alongside veteran missionary and anointed National leaders.  Each of our outreaches lasts for 10-14 days. Ministry styles are varied and may include: service evangelism, church-planting, music and drama outreach, street evangelism, humanitarian care, medical services and preaching and teaching at youth and children's events.  Accommodations will always be among the best that can be provided and the pace of the trip set to maximize the allotted time for ministry while maintaining a manageable schedule. Our trips are designed to assist in furthering the vision of local church leaders whom we have come to serve as well as provide team members the opportunity to learn about missions while participating in a short term project that will have a long term impact.  The team will be made up of youth as well as youth leaders, youth pastors, and youth volunteers.                                                                           

Adult Trips
These trips are specifically designed to enable the working professional, with a limited amount of time to experience cross-cultural ministry.  The trips will be from 7-10 days and will be designed to maximize the allotted time for ministry.  These trips will include career related services, for example: construction teams to assist with various projects, medical teams to set up field clinics, to do dental, eye or medical exams.  The emphasis of these trips will be evangelistic and our team members will have many opportunities to share their faith both one-on-one and in group settings.  It is our goal to help each member of the body of Christ to begin to see themselves as the hands and feet and the ears, eyes and heart of God.  God has called us all to go into the world and make disciples.   At the same time he has given each one of us a specific vocation and as believer we fill the world with his Word by extending the Jesus that is in us in our day to day lives.  Every member of the body of Christ from electricians to nurses can find a place to effectively use the skill that God has given them to be a blessing to the nations.
