What about Immunizations and Vaccinations?
All team members are required to contact either their primary care provider or a licensed International Travel Clinic.  You should make an appointment with them 12 weeks prior to your departure and explain the nature of your trip, your destination, the length of your stay, and the possibility that you will be staying in urban and rural areas.  You should inform them of your medical history, allergies and any vaccinations and immunizations you have received.  They will recommend that you receive certain vaccinations/immunizations.   We strongly urge you to follow the instructions of the health care provider in this matter.  They will also explain your options for receiving your vaccinations and immunizations.  Some of your vaccinations/immunizations may be available through your local Health Department at a reduced cost.  Information about travel-related health issues can be found on the Center for Disease Control web site.    http://www.cdc.gov/travel/

Jim Kaseman Ministries, AFCM and One World Missions cannot give medical advice as to which immunizations/vaccinations you should receive.  We share no liability for the individual’s choices concerning health care.  There are certain health risks involved in traveling to other countries.  You should be well advised by your health care provider as to those risks so that you can make an informed choice about your health.

If you have any further questions or simply need something clarified, please feel free to contact our offices at any time. We would love to hear from you.
